Rene Marie Russo has been a model, actress and filmmaker in the US. Her stunning beauty as well as her success in the film industry are a testament to her skills as a model. In the 1970s, she began her modeling career. She quickly became one of the leading names in this field. At the beginning of 1990 she was enrolled in theatre and acting. Later, in Los Angeles and California she began to make her stage debuts. The year 1987 saw Russo was the lead character Eden Kendell on ABC's show Sable. She was Tom Berengers' love interest the following year with Major League, her debut film. She was initially doubtful about her acting abilities but critics soon became confident after her steady performances. They especially loved her in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak where she held her own in the face of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She has admitted that acting isn't something she enjoys. In 2005, she decided to take a lengthy self-imposed pause. Following a lengthy break, she returned to the screen in Thor. She also appeared in the Oscar award-winning film Nightcrawler, produced by husband. The Intern and Just Getting Started are two light-hearted films where she was a part of the cast.
Rose Namajunas is one of the top female athletes within the UFC. Her early days were spent as an amateur boxer who competed in regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she was a part of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her accomplishments both in and out of the Octagon has helped make her an international brand after she was a part of the UFC. Namajunas had his birth on the 29th of June 1992, in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was brought up by an ethnically diverse Lithuanian family. Rose played basketball and kickboxing as a child. Invicta Fighting Championships took her on the 18-year-old at the age of 18, and she was able to win 2 fights via submission. Dana White was impressed and signed Rose to the UFC's strawweight division at 22 years of age in December of 2014. The career of Rose has been full of extremes, as well as lows and she's capable of coming out of her fights on top. Rose fought Carla Esparza in April 2015 in the Women's Strawweight Title. The fight was won via technical knockout in just 3 minutes of the first round. This was the first time a woman competed to win a title in any major promotion worldwide. Namajunas kept winning other victories, including 2 victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Performance of the Night from UFC.
